The Prinz Law Office has been active in a variety of intellectual property-related professional organizations such as the Intellectual Property Owners Association (“IPO”), the Licensing Executives Society (“LES”), and the American Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section (“IPL Section”), interacting with leaders in the field and addressing issues and developments of concern to the business and legal communities. Firm founder Kristie Prinz currently serves on the Executive Committee of the High Tech Section of the Santa Clara Bar Association and recently completed a five-year term of service on the Advisory Board for the Silicon Valley Chapter of LES. She has also chaired the Copyright Licensing Subcommittee for the IPL Section as well as actively served on the IPO’s Copyright and Corporate IP Management Committees and Baybio’s Programs Committee. In addition to her service in these organizations, she has authored numerous “Ask a Lawyer” columns on intellectual property-related issues for Martindale Hubbell’s Lawyer.com website, and writes this blog as well as the Silicon Valley Software Law Blog and the California Biotech Law Blog.
