Given the firm’s expertise in three key Bay Area industries—high tech, life sciences, and e-commerce—The Prinz Law Office is uniquely able to apply drafting and negotiation techniques utilized successfully from deals in each of these industries to create ‘out of the box’ solutions to even the most unusual transactional problem. The firm brings this in-depth understanding of drafting and negotiation strategies to the table of each client negotiation.
The Prinz Law Office has been active in a variety of intellectual property-related professional organizations such as the Intellectual Property Owners Association (“IPO”), the Licensing Executives Society (“LES”), and the American Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section (“IPL Section”), interacting with leaders in the field and addressing issues and developments of concern to the business and legal communities. Firm founder Kristie Prinz currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Silicon Valley Chapter of LES, and she has chaired the Copyright Licensing Subcommittee for the IPL Section as well as actively served on the IPO’s Copyright and Corporate IP Management Committees and Baybio’s Programs Committee. In addition to her service in these organizations, she has authored numerous “Ask a Lawyer” columns on intellectual property-related issues for Martindale Hubbell’s Lawyer.com website, and writes this blog as well as the California Biotech Law Blog.
